  22nd December 2008 – 8:30 p.m. - The 150th Anniversary of the birth of Giacomo Puccini is celebrated on 22nd December through an extraordinary concert by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Miguel Gomez-Martinez at Teatro del Giglio of Lucca. It is the final date with the Puccini celebrations, set up by the National Committee for Puccini Celebrations
